LEVC, or the London EV Company, is a historic British automotive manufacturer renowned for producing the world-famous London 'Black Cab.' Originally established in 1908 as the London General Cab Company, the brand has undergone several transformations, operating under names such as LTI (London Taxis International) and The London Taxi Company. Today, it stands as a pioneer in sustainable urban mobility, focusing on range-extended electric taxis and commercial vans.

While the brand maintains its British identity through its global headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ansty, Coventry, it has been a subsidiary of the Chinese automotive giant Geely (Zhejiang Geely Holding Group) since 2013. This ownership has facilitated significant investment in electric technology, leading to the development of the iconic TX electric taxi and the VN5 commercial van. While the core manufacturing remains anchored in the UK to serve the London taxi market, some production components and international models, such as the L380 MPV, involve supply chains and assembly facilities in China.
