Dilmah Mango & Strawberry Tea is a premium single-origin Ceylon tea produced by Dilmah, a brand founded in 1985 by Merrill J. Fernando. The brand is celebrated as the world's first producer-owned tea brand, meaning it is grown, handpicked, and packed at its source in Sri Lanka to ensure maximum freshness and quality. The name 'Dilmah' was created by combining the names of the founder's two sons, Dilhan and Malik.

While many global tea brands are owned by large multinational conglomerates, Dilmah has famously remained a family-owned business. It is currently operated by the second and third generations of the Fernando family under the MJF Group. Following the passing of founder Merrill J. Fernando in 2023, his son Dilhan C. Fernando has taken the mantle as Chairman and CEO. The company adheres to a 'business as a matter of human service' philosophy, directing a significant portion of its profits toward humanitarian and environmental initiatives via the MJF Charitable Foundation.

Every box of Dilmah tea, including this Mango & Strawberry infusion, is manufactured at their facilities in Sri Lanka. The brand is vertically integrated, controlling the process from the tea gardens (estates) to the final retail packaging. This specific product features Ceylon black tea flavored with fruit notes, maintaining the traditional 'orthodox' tea production methods for which the brand is known globally.
