In the 1930s, the company was acquired by the Schindler family, who transformed it into a global player by introducing successful brands like Velamints.

While the original company faced financial difficulties in the early 2000s, the Ragolds name and production were revived by Oliver Schindler, the fourth generation of the family. Today, the products are manufactured in Boizenburg, Germany, under Ragolds GmbH. The brand maintains a strong international presence, particularly in Europe and North America, continuing its tradition of high-quality sugar-based and sugar-free hard candies.
