Initially serving professional sectors like police and military units in Austria and Hungary, the brand expanded into the global consumer market, becoming famous for its innovative IDC® Powerharness. Today, the brand is a leading European manufacturer, maintaining the majority of its production within Hungary to ensure high quality and environmental sustainability. It utilizes materials primarily sourced from European partners, including heavy reliance on German raw materials for straps and Swiss components for buckles.

As of 2026, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of its original founder, Gyula Sebő, through his companies Julius-K9 Bt. and K9-Sport Kft. The brand has expanded into diverse areas, including dog food and GPS technology, often through licensing and cooperation agreements with specialized partners like Panzi Pet Ltd.
