Monini Glassa is a creamy balsamic glaze produced by the historic Italian olive oil company Monini. The product is crafted using 'Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP' (Protected Geographical Indication), which guarantees its origin from the Modena region in Italy, renowned globally for its traditional vinegar production.

Founded in 1920 by Zefferino Monini in Spoleto, Umbria, the brand began as a food warehouse and evolved into a pioneer of extra virgin olive oil distribution. While primarily known for its oils, Monini expanded its portfolio through strategic partnerships and specialized divisions. In 2014, the company established Emilia Aceti S.r.l. in Maranello, near Modena, specifically to produce high-quality balsamic vinegars and glazes like the one shown here.

Today, Monini remains a 100% family-owned business, led by the third generation, Zefferino and Maria Flora Monini. They successfully bought back shares from multinational interests in 2002 to restore the company's independent Spoleto identity. The product is manufactured in Italy, specifically utilizing facilities dedicated to the Modena IGP production standards.
