PCI Gisogrund is a market-leading primer and bonding agent specifically designed for the construction industry. The brand PCI (Poly-Chemie-Ingenieurgesellschaft) was founded in 1950 in Germany and revolutionized the market with the first floor-laying solutions and solvent-free primers.

Historically part of the BASF portfolio (via the MBCC Group), the PCI brand underwent a significant ownership change in May 2023. It was acquired by Sika AG, a Swiss multinational specialty chemicals company, which is the ultimate owner of the brand. Today, PCI remains a premium brand under the Sika umbrella, focusing on high-performance products for tilers and flooring professionals. Manufacturing is primarily concentrated in Germany, with major production sites in Augsburg, Hamm, and Wittenberg.
