Baracke Tahini

Baracke (often spelled Barake or Barahke) is a premium tahini brand produced by Rushdi Food Industries Ltd. The brand was officially launched in 2006 after the Bashir family, the original founders of the company, decided to dissolve their partnership with the global conglomerate Unilever to operate independently.

The product is manufactured at Rushdi's advanced production facility in the Alon Tavor industrial area in Northern Israel, which is recognized as one of the largest tahini and halva factories in the world. Baracke tahini is made using 100% sesame seeds, often sourced from Ethiopia (specifically the Humera region), which are processed using traditional stone-grinding methods combined with modern technology to maintain high nutritional values and a smooth texture. While the brand is primarily marketed for the Israeli domestic and export markets, the parent company also produces other global brands like Mighty Sesame for North American retail.
