Zalo is one of Norway's most iconic and trusted household brands, originally launched in 1951. Developed by the historic Norwegian company Lilleborg, the brand has been a staple in Norwegian kitchens for generations, initially famous for its highly concentrated dishwashing liquid before expanding into specialized kitchen and surface sprays.
The product's manufacturing is deeply rooted in Norway, with primary production located at the Orkla Home & Personal Care facility in Ski. Supporting its local supply chain, the bottles are produced in Moss, and the labels are manufactured in Stavanger. While the professional B2B division of Lilleborg was sold to Solenis in 2024, the consumer brand Zalo remains a vital part of the Orkla portfolio, specifically under its Home & Personal Care division. Today, Zalo is recognized as one of the strongest brands in the Norwegian market, known for its efficiency and 'one drop' effectiveness.
