Prinveli is a brand of Georgian wine that traces its heritage back to the Winemaking traditions of the Kakheti region. This specific product, Pirosmani, is a semi-dry red wine named after the famous Georgian primitive painter Niko Pirosmani. It is traditionally crafted from the Saperavi grape variety, which is native to the Alazani Valley.
The brand is produced and managed by Georgian Royal Wine (GRW), a company established in 2011 by winemaker Revaz Karalashvili and his partner Gia Kupreishvili. The Karalashvili family represents five generations of winemaking expertise in Georgia. The wine is produced in the winery's modern facility in Kvareli, using grapes harvested from their extensive 220-hectare vineyards. Georgian Royal Wine has grown significantly, exporting its products to over 20 countries worldwide and maintaining a strong reputation for blending traditional Georgian methods with modern European technology.
