Pom'Potes is a pioneering brand of fruit snack pouches, first launched in France in 1998 by the company Materne. It revolutionized the fruit compote market by introducing a portable, squeezable format that required no spoon and could be kept at room temperature, making it a staple for children's lunchboxes and on-the-go snacking.
The product is primarily manufactured in France, specifically at the Materne production facility in Boué, located in the Aisne department. This site has a long history, dating back to a jam factory founded in 1881. The apples used are typically sourced from eco-responsible orchards within France. Internationally, the brand is widely recognized in the United States under the name GoGo squeeZ.
Since 2016, the brand has been under the ownership of the Bel Group (Groupe Bel), a major French multinational food company. In 2022, Bel completed the acquisition of 100% of the MOM Group (the parent company of Materne and Mont-Blanc), solidifying its position as a global leader in healthy fruit and dairy snacks.
