Lovacado is a leading brand of premium avocados produced by Costa Group, one of Australia's largest horticultural companies. The brand was launched around 2018 to capture the strong consumer connection to avocados, often marketing the fruit with a focus on 'me-time' and mindful eating.

Specifically, the product shown is a Shepard variety, which is unique because its skin remains green even when ripe, unlike the more common Hass variety that turns dark purple or black. Australia is currently the only country in the world that grows Shepard avocados on a commercial scale, primarily in the Queensland regions of Atherton and Childers.

The brand is owned by the Costa Group, which has a history dating back to the late 1800s in Geelong, Victoria. In February 2024, Costa Group was acquired and taken private by a North American-led consortium consisting of Paine Schwartz Partners, Driscoll's Inc., and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI).
