Tío Resti Queso Fresco

Tío Resti is a renowned Spanish cheese brand specializing in goat cheese products. Originally established as an artisanal cheese producer in 1985 in Calasparra, Murcia, the brand is celebrated for its commitment to local traditions and the use of milk from the Murciano-Granadina goat breed. The brand name and the imagery on the packaging pay homage to the rural heritage of the 'cabrer' (goatherd).

In 2009, the brand was acquired by Grupo TGT, one of Spain's leading companies in the production and distribution of dairy products. While the brand is now part of a large corporate group, its core production remains centered at the Especialidades Lácteas S.L.U. facility in Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia. This allows the product to maintain its Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) status for its Murcia-based varieties. Today, Tío Resti products are distributed widely across Spain and international markets, including the United States and Germany, balancing industrial scale with traditional Murcian roots.
