UMAGE Eos feather lamp

The Eos lamp is a signature design piece from the Danish brand UMAGE (formerly known as VITA Copenhagen). Created by designer Søren Ravn Christensen, the lampshade is famously handcrafted using thousands of natural goose feathers fixed onto a paper core, which provides a soft, atmospheric glow distinctive to Nordic design aesthetics.

Originally launched under the VITA Copenhagen brand name before its rebranding to UMAGE in 2018, the product follows a sustainable philosophy by repurposing goose feathers that are by-products of the food industry. While designed in Denmark and deeply rooted in Scandinavian minimalist traditions, the manufacturing of these intricate shades is primarily outsourced to facilities in China to maintain the brand's commitment to affordable designer lighting.
