UMAGE Eos pendant light

The UMAGE Eos is a distinctive pendant light shade renowned for its use of all-natural goose feathers, hand-assembled to create a soft and ethereal aesthetic. Designed by Søren Ravn Christensen, the Eos reflects the Danish design tradition of combining minimalist aesthetics with sustainable functionality. The feathers used are a repurposed byproduct of the food industry, ensuring that the production aligns with animal welfare standards through Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certification.

Originally launched under the brand name VITA Copenhagen, the company rebranded to UMAGE in 2018 to better reflect its commitment to 'making an effort' (the meaning of 'umage' in Danish). Today, the brand is globally recognized for its functional Scandinavian designs that are often flat-packed to reduce carbon footprints during shipping. Ownership remains with the original founders, and the brand continues to operate out of Copenhagen, Denmark.
