Suitsupply is a vertically integrated menswear brand that has disrupted the traditional luxury fashion market since its inception. Founded in 2000 by Fokke de Jong in Amsterdam, the company began as an early e-commerce venture, initially operating out of a dorm room and even the trunk of a car. The brand's core philosophy centers on providing high-quality tailoring using premium Italian fabrics at a fraction of the cost of traditional luxury labels like Armani.

While the brand is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the majority of its garments are manufactured in specialized facilities in China. This strategic decision was made to leverage high-end manufacturing expertise and advanced technology while maintaining competitive pricing. To ensure quality, Suitsupply manages its production chain directly and sources its raw materials from world-renowned Italian textile mills such as Vitale Barberis Canonico and Reda. Despite temporary investment from NPM Capital starting in 2017, founder Fokke de Jong successfully bought back full control of the company in late 2024, keeping the brand independent and privately held.
