Lambi is a leading premium brand in the tissue and hygiene paper market, particularly well-known across the Nordic and Baltic regions. The brand was originally launched in Sweden in 1962 under the name 'Vita Lamm' (White Lamb) by the company Metsä-Serla. Over the decades, it evolved into Lambi to serve a broader international market while maintaining its core brand identity of 'Nordic Softness' and quality. Today, the brand is a major part of the Metsä Tissue portfolio.
Production of Lambi products is strategically localized to minimize transport distances and environmental impact. Manufacturing primary takes place at Metsä Tissue's mills in Finland (Mänttä) and Sweden (Mariestad and Småland), as well as in Germany (Stotzheim). These facilities utilize fresh wood fibers sourced from responsibly managed northern forests, ensuring high sustainability standards. The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of the Metsä Group, a Finnish forestry cooperative owned by tens of thousands of local forest owners, headquarted in Espoo, Finland.
