La Casera is an iconic Spanish brand with a rich heritage dating back to 1949, when it was founded by the Duffo family in Madrid. Originally known for its classic 'gaseosa' (a sweet, transparent soda), it became a staple of Spanish culture, famously used to create 'tinto de verano' when mixed with wine. Over the decades, the brand expanded into various flavors, including the lemon variant seen here.

While the brand remains deeply rooted in Spain with its primary manufacturing facility located in Toledo (Castile-La Mancha), its ownership has shifted through several multinational hands. After being acquired by Cadbury-Schweppes in 2001, it eventually became part of the Suntory Group. Today, it is managed by Suntory Beverage & Food Spain, reflecting its integration into one of the world's leading beverage conglomerates while maintaining its traditional Spanish identity.
