Can Majoral is a prestigious family-run winery located in the municipality of Algaida, on the island of Mallorca, Spain. Founded in 1979 by Andreu Oliver, the estate is deeply rooted in the agricultural traditions of the 'Es Pla' region. The brand is a pioneer in Balearic viticulture, having become the first Mallorcan wine producer to achieve organic certification in 1994.
The winery specializes in both indigenous Balearic grape varieties, such as Callet, Mantonegro, and Giró Blanc, and international varieties like Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Every stage of production—from the hand-harvesting of the grapes in their Son Reus and Son Roig domains to the bottling process—takes place at their facility in Algaida. This specific vintage belongs to the 'Pla i Llevant' Denominación de Origen (DO), a classification that guarantees the wine's geographic origin and adherence to strict quality standards. To this day, the company remains under the direct ownership and management of the Oliver family, with the second generation now leading the winemaking and commercial operations.
