Maza is a well-known Dutch brand specializing in Mediterranean delicacies like 'hoemoes' (hummus), falafel, and various vegetable spreads. The brand's products are primarily produced at their dedicated production facility in Zaandam, Netherlands.

The company's history is a blend of cultures. It was originally founded in 1976 as a salad business by Hans Oberegger, an Austrian chef who moved to Amsterdam. In 2000, Hans along with his sons Richie and Roberto, acquired Maza—a then-small hummus producer based in IJmuiden. They transformed the brand by combining authentic Middle Eastern recipes with Dutch production standards. Today, Maza Mediterranean Delicacies remains a family-owned business, still managed by the Oberegger family through their holding company. They have grown to become a market leader in the Netherlands while also expanding their reach to international markets like Germany and Denmark.
