Milka Choco Thins / Choco Finas

Milka Choco Thins (also known as Choco Finas in several markets) are premium thin biscuits coated in world-renowned Alpine milk chocolate. The Milka brand traces its rich history back to 1825 when Swiss chocolatier Philippe Suchard opened a confectionery in Neuchâtel. The 'Milka' brand name itself, a portmanteau of the German words for milk (Milch) and cocoa (Kakao), was officially trademarked in 1901 by Suchard's son-in-law, Carl Russ-Suchard.

While the brand has Swiss roots, it has a long-standing association with Germany, where its primary production facilities have been located since the early 20th century. Today, most Milka products, including these biscuits, are manufactured in Germany and surrounding European locations like Slovakia. Owned by the global snack food giant Mondelez International since 2012 (following the spinoff from Kraft Foods), Milka remains one of Europe's most dominant chocolate brands, instantly recognizable by its lilac packaging and iconic 'Lila' cow mascot.
