Tracer is a prominent brand in the construction and professional trade industry, specializing in high-performance marking and measuring tools. The brand was originally established by the ROYD Tool Group in the United Kingdom, evolving from an earlier range known as ACER in 2018. Over the years, Tracer became widely recognized for its signature Deep Hole Construction Markers and innovative marking kits designed for trade professionals including carpenters and electricians.

In late 2024, the Tracer brand was acquired by OX Group Global, a leading international supplier of hand tools and safety products headquartered in Australia. Following this acquisition, Tracer is being integrated into the global OX network to expand its reach across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. While the engineering and design concepts originate from the UK and Australia, manufacturing is primarily carried out in specialized facilities in China to maintain global distribution and affordability.
