Previously part of Foundation Wellness (formerly known as Remington Products Company), the brand was part of a portfolio managed by Gridiron Capital. In September 2024, Bansk Group, a New York-based private equity firm specializing in consumer brands, acquired Foundation Wellness. This acquisition positions Powerstep under Bansk Group's stewardship, focusing on expanding its reaching into the broader consumer health and wellness market.
