Arag is a world-renowned leader in the production of components and solutions for agricultural spraying and precision farming. Founded in 1976 in Rubiera, Italy, the brand has established itself as a global benchmark for high-tech agricultural equipment, including nozzles, valves, filters, and sophisticated monitoring systems like GPS and ISOBUS computers.

Historically an independent Italian company, Arag underwent a significant structural change in August 2023 when it was acquired by the American multinational Nordson Corporation for approximately €960 million. Following this acquisition, Arag became a key division within Nordson’s Industrial Precision Solutions segment, rebranded as Nordson Precision Agriculture.

While its global headquarters and core manufacturing operations remain centered in the "Motor Valley" region of Rubiera, Italy, the brand maintains a robust international presence with manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, and Australia. This enables the company to serve customers across more than 80 countries with hardware and software tailored to smart farming practices.
