Beslag Design is a prominent Swedish brand specializing in interior fittings, including handles, knobs, and lighting solutions for both residential and commercial spaces. Founded in 1972 by Stig Bergström in Båstad, Sweden, the company evolved from a small garage-based operation into a market leader in Scandinavia. While the brand maintains its headquarters, design center, and main distribution hub in Båstad to ensure quality control and Nordic design integrity, its manufacturing is distributed across multiple global locations to balance craftsmanship with production scale. Significant portions of the hardware are crafted using materials like brass, copper, and leather, reflecting Swedish minimalist and functionalist aesthetics.

In early 2024, Beslag Design underwent a significant corporate transition. It was acquired by Salix Group, a subsidiary of the Swedish investment giant Volati AB. This move integrated Beslag Design into the Salix Home & Fittings business area, aiming to leverage larger logistical networks and digital commerce platforms. Despite this acquisition, the brand continues to operate with its original design philosophy, focusing on detail-oriented interior products that serve architects, interior designers, and homeowners across Europe.
