Volvic Touch of Watermelon

Volvic is a renowned French brand of natural mineral water, famously sourced from the Clairvic Spring in the Auvergne Volcanic Regional Park in central France. The water is naturally filtered through six layers of volcanic rock, a process that takes several years and gives the water its unique mineral composition. The Volvic brand was officially introduced in 1938 and has since grown into a global leader in the bottled water market.

In 1993, the brand was acquired by Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation headquartered in Paris. Under Danone’s ownership, Volvic has expanded its product line to include the 'Touch of Fruit' range, which combines the volcanic mineral water with natural fruit flavours like watermelon. The company has a strong focus on sustainability, achieving carbon neutrality and aiming for 100% recycled plastic packaging by 2025. While the core mineral water is bottled at the source in France, different variations or local distribution packaging may occasionally involve secondary locations, though the primary manufacturing remains concentrated in its historic French home.
