Fuchs is a long-standing German brand primarily known for its extensive range of spices and seasonings. The brand was established in 1952 by Dieter Fuchs in Dissen, Germany. Initially starting as a small bicycle-based delivery service for salt and pepper, it has grown into one of the largest spice manufacturers in Europe.
The Fuchs Group operates internationally with numerous production facilities across several continents. While many of the retail products sold in Central Europe are manufactured at their core German sites in Dissen and Schönbrunn, the company also utilizes global resourcing for raw materials and has manufacturing plants in countries like the USA, Brazil, France, and China.
Since 2023, the Fuchs Group has been fully owned by the Fuchs family and the non-profit Dieter Fuchs Foundation. This change occurred after the family group re-acquired a minority stake previously held by the Finnish Paulig Group. Today, the Dieter Fuchs Foundation remains the majority shareholder, ensuring the company's long-term independence as a privately held family business.
