LS2 Helmets is a prominent global manufacturer of motorcycle gear, specifically known for its extensive range of helmets. The brand's journey began in 1990 when Arthur Liao founded a small helmet business in China under the name Fengxing. Over the following decades, the company expanded rapidly, transitioning to the trade name MHR to facilitate international growth. In 2007, the LS2 brand was officially launched at the EICMA show in Milan, marking the company's shift from an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for other brands to a direct-to-consumer powerhouse.

While the brand is headquartered in Terrassa, Spain (near Barcelona), where its global design, research, and development are conducted, the manufacturing backbone remains in Asia. The primary production facility is the massive Jiangmen Pengcheng Helmet Co., Ltd. (JPH) factory in China. Recent expansions have also seen the opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Vietnam to meet rising global demand. The brand is now owned and operated by the Liao family through MHR and its various international divisions, including LS2 Helmets Europe.
