Wild West Honey BBQ Beef Jerky

Wild West Beef Jerky was launched in 2003 as the first traditional American-style jerky brand in the United Kingdom. Although the brand draws its aesthetic inspiration from the rugged American frontier, it was originally developed by James Newitt under The Jerky Group. The product is known for being more tender than many of its US counterparts, as it is prepared with beef silverside that is marinated, smoked, and cooked to retain a steak-like texture.

Today, the brand is owned by New World Foods, a company led by entrepreneur Tony Quinn. The primary production happens in Scotland, where the company operates a dedicated processing plant in Forres, near Inverness. This facility was established to transition from using South American beef to premium Scottish and British beef, ensuring the quality and local sourcing of their high-protein, gluten-free snacks.
