Topking fingerfood

Topking Fingerfood is a prominent Dutch snack manufacturer specializing in spicy and high-quality appetizers. The brand's history dates back to 1981 when founder Bert Roubos started 'Indoking' at his kitchen table. The company's breakthrough came with the invention of 'Vlammetjes', a spicy meat snack inspired by an Indonesian family recipe. Over the years, the brand expanded into a wide variety of finger foods, including 'KaasTengels' (cheese sticks) and various pita/tosti products.

In 2019, Topking was acquired by Signature Foods BV, a Dutch group known for other chilled and savory brands like Johma and Heks'nkaas. Despite the acquisition, Topking continues to operate as an independent entity within the group, maintaining its production facilities in Schiedam, Netherlands. The manufacturing process is described as semi-artisanal, localized entirely within the Netherlands to ensure the quality of their iconic crispy flens (crepe-like) outer shells.
