Von Dutch is an iconic American fashion brand that emerged from the 1950s "Kustom Kulture" scene, named after the legendary artist and pinstriper Kenny Howard (alias Von Dutch). The brand officially launched in 1999, founded by Michael Cassel and Bobby Vaughn, and soon became a global phenomenon in the early 2000s, famously credited to the creative direction of Christian Audigier. Known for its signature trucker hats and bowling bags, the brand became a staple of Y2K celebrity culture.

Over the years, the brand has navigated various ownership changes and controversies. After a period of decline and ownership by the French footwear specialist Groupe Royer, the brand was acquired in July 2024 by WSG Brands (White Space Group). Under this new leadership, Von Dutch has seen a massive resurgence as a luxury streetwear label, re-establishing its presence in major metropolitan markets across the United States and globally. Manufacturing for Von Dutch products occurs in several locations worldwide, including China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, to support its diverse product range of apparel, headwear, and accessories.
