Marabou Crunchy Biscoff pieces is a collaboration product combining the iconic Swedish milk chocolate from Marabou with the globally renowned Biscoff caramelized biscuit pieces from Belgium.

Marabou was founded in 1916 by Norwegian chocolatier Johan Throne Holst in Sundbyberg, Sweden, as an expansion of his successful Freia brand. Today, the core of Marabou's production remains in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. The Biscoff component is a product of Lotus Bakeries, a Belgian family-owned company founded in 1932 by Jan Boone Sr., which specializes in Speculoos cookies (branded internationally as Biscoff).

While Marabou is currently owned by the American multinational Mondelēz International, Lotus Bakeries remains an independent Belgian entity. This specific chocolate bar represents a strategic partnership between the two companies to blend their most famous flavors for the European market.
