Seabrook Crisps is a quintessential British snack brand with a heritage dating back to 1945. Originally founded by Charles Brook in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the brand became famous for its crinkle-cut potato crisps and bold seasonings. The name 'Seabrook' famously originated from a clerical error at a photo-processing shop where the founder's name, 'C. Brook', was misread and printed as 'Seabrook' on his film.

Today, the product is manufactured at the company's long-standing production facility in Bradford, England. The brand underwent a significant ownership change in October 2018 when it was acquired by Calbee UK Ltd, which is the British subsidiary of the Japanese snacking giant Calbee, Inc. Following this acquisition, the parent company has continued to invest heavily in the Bradford manufacturing site to expand production capacity and introduce new snack formats like these baked maize rings.
