Magnum Almond Cone

Magnum is a globally recognized ice cream brand known for its signature thick chocolate coating. Originally developed in Aarhus, Denmark, by the ice cream maker Frisko in the late 1980s, the brand was officially launched in 1989. While it was long a flagship brand within the Unilever portfolio, a significant shift occurred in late 2025. Following a strategic restructuring, Unilever demerged its ice cream division into a standalone entity.

Today, the brand is owned and operated by The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC), which is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Despite the corporate separation, TMICC remains a massive global player, managing other heritage brands like Ben & Jerry's and Wall's. Manufacturing for products like the Almond Cone occurs in various specialized facilities across Europe and the globe to meet international demand, with logistics often managed by regional subsidiaries like GB Glace in Sweden.
