Founded in 1986 in Linz, Austria, by Philip Zepter (born Milan Janković), the brand initially gained fame through its premium 'Masterpiece Cookware.' The brand's manufacturing footprint is primarily concentrated in Europe, with nine state-of-the-art production facilities located across Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. Its medical arm, Bioptron AG, is based in Switzerland and produces the globally recognized Bioptron Light Therapy system, while its skincare lines are developed at Swiss biotechnology laboratories. The cookware remains centralized in Milan, Italy, at the Menfi Industria factory.
