SkipTheDishes (recently rebranded simply as 'Skip') is a prominent Canadian technology company specializing in online food and grocery delivery. Founded in 2012 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, by brothers Josh and Chris Simair alongside Jeff Adamson, Andrew Chau, and Daniel Simair, the brand quickly established itself as a 'homegrown' industry leader. Unlike traditional logistics companies, Skip operates as a three-sided marketplace, leveraging a proprietary algorithm to connect customers, local restaurants/retailers, and independent couriers.

In 2016, SkipTheDishes was acquired by the UK-based food delivery giant Just Eat. Following the major 2020 merger between Just Eat and the Netherlands-based Takeaway.com, Skip became a vital division of the consolidated entity, Just Eat Takeaway.com N.V. While it adopted the distinctive orange branding and logo of its Dutch parent, it remains headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As of 2025, Prosus Group (an international internet assets division of the South African multinational Naspers) is set to acquire the entire Just Eat Takeaway group, bringing Skip under its global umbrella of tech investments by 2026.
