Baumalu is a renowned French manufacturer specialized in high-quality copper and stainless steel cookware. Founded in 1971 in the Alsace region of France, the brand has built a reputation for traditional craftsmanship, particularly its signature copper pots and pans which are often lined with tin or stainless steel. The manufacturing facility remains located in Baldenheim, Alsace, where the company continues to produce its professional-grade kitchenware under the "Made in France" and "Made in Alsace" labels.
In December 2023, Baumalu underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the Belgian cookware group Allinox. Based in Oostrozebeke, Belgium, Allinox is a major international player in the cookware industry, also owning brands such as Beka. Despite the acquisition, Baumalu continues to operate as an independent entity within the group, maintaining its traditional production techniques and regional Alsatian identity while leveraging Allinox's global distribution network and financial stability.
