Harry's is a vertically integrated men's grooming brand that revolutionized the razor industry through a direct-to-consumer model. Founded in 2012 by Jeff Raider and Andy Katz-Mayfield, the brand is unique because it owns its entire supply chain. In 2014, Harry's acquired Feintechnik GmbH, a historic razor blade factory in Eisfeld, Germany, that has been operational since 1920.
While the high-grade stainless steel blades are manufactured in Germany using Swedish steel, the razor handles are primarily produced in China. The company's personal care products, such as body washes, shampoos, and shaving creams, are typically formulated and produced in labs across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Despite a high-profile blocked acquisition attempt by Edgewell Personal Care in 2020, Harry's remains independent under its parent organization. As of 2026, the brand is part of a larger multi-brand portfolio known as Mammoth Brands, which is headquarted in New York and manages other labels like Flamingo and Lume.
