Lord razor

Lord is a prominent global brand in the wet shaving industry, with a heritage dating back to 1930. The brand was born in Alexandria, Egypt, through the Alexandria Metal Products Company, which established the first mechanized razor blade factory in the Middle East. A significant milestone occurred in 1978 when the company entered a joint venture with the British company Wilkinson Sword, forming Wilkinson Sword Middle East. This partnership introduced advanced machinery and European quality standards to the production lines.

In 1981, the Soliman family acquired full ownership of the company from Wilkinson Sword, leading to the formation of Lord Precision Industries (now known as Lord International Co.). Today, Lord is recognized as one of the world's top five manufacturers of razor blades and shaving systems. While the company utilizes premium Swedish steel and maintains sales offices in Europe, the primary manufacturing hub remains in Alexandria, Egypt, where it produces a vast range of double-edge blades, disposable razors, and advanced shaving systems for more than 75 countries.
