Nestle Crunch chocolate bar

Nestle Crunch is an iconic chocolate bar featuring a signature blend of smooth milk chocolate and crisped rice. First invented in 1938 at the Nestle factory in Fulton, New York, the product was created when confectioners experimented with adding crisped rice to the existing Nestle Milk Chocolate bar. Initially introduced in the UK market in 1965 under the name 'Dairy Crunch Milk', it was rebranded to its globally recognized 'Crunch' identity in 1992.

Today, the manufacturing of Crunch occurs in various international facilities to serve global demand. While it originated in the United States, production is now widespread across Europe and other regions. Notably, in 2018, Nestle sold its U.S. confectionery business to the Italian conglomerate Ferrero. Consequently, while Nestle remains the ultimate owner and manufacturer of the brand globally, the U.S. rights and production are handled by Ferrero through its subsidiary, the Ferrara Candy Company. In the UK and most other international markets, the brand remains under the direct stewardship of Nestle S.A., maintaining its classic vibrant blue and red packaging.
