Cadence is a prominent Brazilian brand specializing in small home appliances, most notably its colorful and practical coffee makers. Founded in 1999 by Nelson Lisot in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the brand quickly became a household name in Brazil by offering designer electronics at affordable prices.

In 2011, Cadence was acquired by Jarden Corporation, an American consumer goods conglomerate. Later, in 2016, Jarden merged with Newell Rubbermaid to form Newell Brands. Today, Cadence operates under the umbrella of Newell Brands' Brazilian subsidiary, JCS Brasil Eletrodomésticos S.A. (which also manages the Oster brand in the region). While the brand is deeply rooted in Brazilian design and market strategy, its products are primarily manufactured in China to leverage global supply chain efficiencies, though final assembly or specific parts of the logistical process may take place in its facilities in Navegantes, Santa Catarina.
