YouSee is the leading consumer telecommunications brand in Denmark, providing a comprehensive range of digital services including television, high-speed broadband, and mobile telephony. The brand's history is deeply rooted in the Danish infrastructure, tracing back to the 1960s with regional companies like Jydsk Telefon. It officially emerged as Tele Danmark Kabel TV in 1995 and was rebranded as YouSee in 2007 to represent its shift from a cable TV provider to a diversified digital-service provider.
In 2016, the consumer divisions of its parent TDC were merged into YouSee, making it the primary interface for private customers in Denmark. Following a major corporate restructuring in 2019, YouSee became a division of Nuuday, the service-focused arm of the TDC Group. As of April 8, 2026, the parent company Nuuday rebranded to TDC Brands to reunite the company's service entities under a single, iconic name while emphasizing digital security and trust.
The service is fully integrated into Danish infrastructure, utilizing the nationwide fiber, coax, and mobile networks owned by sister company TDC NET. The brand is currently owned by a consortium consisting of the Australian investment firm Macquarie and several Danish pension funds (PFA, PKA, and ATP).
