The Philips ProBlend 6 3D blender is a high-performance kitchen appliance originally developed by the Dutch technology giant Philips. While the brand is synonymous with Dutch engineering and innovation, most of its consumer kitchen appliances, including the Avance Collection series featuring ProBlend 6 3D technology, are manufactured in China. This is consistent with the production strategy for the brand's small domestic appliances, which balances advanced R&D with global manufacturing efficiency.

In 2021, the structural ownership of Philips' domestic appliance division underwent a significant shift. Royal Philips (Koninklijke Philips N.V.) sold its Domestic Appliances business to Hillhouse Investment, a global private equity firm. Following this acquisition, the division was rebranded as Versuni in 2023. Under a 15-year licensing agreement, Versuni continues to use the Philips brand name for these products. This transition allows the original Philips parent company to focus on professional health technology, while Versuni manages the development, manufacturing, and sale of the household appliances until at least 2036.
