Seasonic FOCUS power supply

Seasonic, officially known as Sea Sonic Electronics Co., Ltd., is a premier manufacturer of power conversion products that has been a cornerstone of the PC hardware industry since its founding in 1975. Based in Taipei, Taiwan, the company rose to prominence by becoming one of the first manufacturers to mass-produce ATX power supplies and the first to achieve the 80 PLUS efficiency certification. The FOCUS series, launched as part of the 'One Seasonic' initiative, is one of their most popular retail lines, known for high reliability, compact sizing, and gold or platinum efficiency ratings.

Unlike many 'brands' in the power supply market that simply rebadge designs from other companies, Seasonic is an actual Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). They design and manufacture their own internal platforms in-house. While their corporate headquarters and research and development teams remain in Taiwan, the bulk of their high-volume manufacturing, including the FOCUS series, takes place at their dedicated facilities in Dongguan, China. Some high-end units or specific batches are still produced at their facilities in Taiwan. The brand remains independently owned and operated by Sea Sonic Electronics, maintaining its reputation as a gold standard in the enthusiast and industrial computing markets.
