Cathedral City is the United Kingdom's most popular cheddar cheese brand. It is manufactured at the Davidstow Creamery in Cornwall, England, using 100% British milk sourced from roughly 330 dedicated local West Country farms. The cheese is then matured and packed in facilities within England before being distributed globally.

The brand was originally established in 1966 by Mendip Foods, based in the city of Wells, Somerset—home of the Wells Cathedral that inspired the brand's name and logo. In 1995, the brand was acquired by Dairy Crest, which later became Saputo Dairy UK. Since 2019, the brand has been under the ultimate ownership of Saputo Inc., a major Canadian global dairy processor. The product has recently expanded its presence into North American markets, including Canada and the United States, while maintaining its strictly British manufacturing heritage and sourcing.
