Continente Lisas potato chips

Continente Lisas are classic flat-cut potato chips produced for the Portuguese retail giant Continente. The brand is deeply rooted in the history of modern retail in Portugal, having pioneered the hypermarket format in the country in 1985. Initially established through a joint venture between the Portuguese group Sonae and the French retailer Promodès (later acquired by Carrefour), the brand eventually came under the full ownership of Sonae in 2004.

Today, the brand is managed by MC (formerly Sonae MC), which is the food retail division of the Sonae group. These potato chips are primarily manufactured in Portugal to serve the vast network of Continente hypermarkets and supermarkets nationwide. As a private-label product, it is designed to offer high-quality snacking at competitive prices, maintaining Sonae's position as a market leader in the Portuguese food retail sector.
