Fuchs Kräuter Meersalz is a premium herbal sea salt produced by the Fuchs Gruppe, the world's largest privately-held spice and seasoning manufacturer. The brand was founded in 1952 by Dieter Fuchs in Dissen, Germany, where he initially sold bags of salt and pepper by bicycle.

Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Germany, with major production facilities located in Dissen (Lower Saxony) and Schönbrunn. The facility in Dissen is notable for housing one of the world's largest spice mills. The brand is currently owned by the Fuchs Gruppe (legally structured as DF World of Spices AG), which returned to 100% German family and foundation ownership in 2023 after re-acquiring a minority stake previously held by the Finnish Paulig Group. The majority of the company (90%) is owned by the non-profit Dieter Fuchs Foundation, ensuring long-term independence and investment back into the business.
