Working Man's Lunch is a Baltic Brown Porter brewed by Ugly Duck Brewing Co., a brand characterized as the 'wild child' of the established Indslev Bryggeri. The beer is a 6.0% ABV porter noted for its rich, malty character and balanced toastiness. It was developed to honor classic craftsmanship, reflecting a robust profile suitable for a satisfying break.

Ugly Duck Brewing Co. was launched in March 2012 by Indslev Bryggeri, a historic Danish brewery originally founded in 1897 by Frederik Christian Rasmussen. While Indslev is traditionally known for its focus on wheat beers, the Ugly Duck brand was created as a modern laboratory for experimenting with diverse craft beer styles, including IPAs and Porters. The production typically takes place at the Indslev facility located in Nørre Aaby, near Middelfart on the island of Funen, Denmark.

The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of the Rasmussen family, specifically Anders Busse Rasmussen, who restored the brewery to operation in 2005. The company has gained significant recognition within the Danish craft beer scene, famously winning 'Brewery of the Year' shortly after the Ugly Duck sub-brand's introduction.
