Creative Labs is the primary brand and subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd., a global leader in digital entertainment and audio innovation. Founded in 1981 by Sim Wong Hoo and Ng Kai Wa, the company is headquartered in Singapore and became a household name in the 1990s with the introduction of its legendary Sound Blaster sound card, which defined the PC audio standard for a generation.

While the brand was pioneered and is managed from Singapore, its manufacturing operations are distributed globally. Historically, the company maintained heavy production in Singapore and Malaysia, but today it utilizes a network of contract manufacturers and facilities across Asia, primarily in China, to produce its diverse range of high-performance DACs, amplifiers, wireless speakers, and gaming headsets.

Creative Technology Ltd. remains the ultimate owner of the brand. It is a publicly-traded company on the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Following the passing of founder Sim Wong Hoo in 2023, the leadership transitioned to a new executive team, including CEO Freddy Sim as of 2025, continuing the brand's legacy of delivering high-fidelity audio solutions to over 400 million users worldwide.
