LdB, which stands for Lait de Beauté (French for "Beauty Milk"), is an iconic Scandinavian skincare brand founded in 1945 by the Swedish hairdresser and entrepreneur Knut Wulff. Despite its French name, the brand has deep Swedish roots; its original formula was inspired by recipes from Paris but was first produced in Wulff's basement in Sweden.

Over the decades, LdB evolved from a small venture into a household name, known for its lotions, deodorants, and shower creams. In 1955, the brand was even appointed as a Royal Court Supplier in Sweden. The ownership of the brand has transitioned several times, moving from the company Hartford to Cederroth in 2010. In 2015, the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla acquired Cederroth, bringing LdB into its Orkla Care division. Today, the products are primarily manufactured at Orkla's production facility in Falun, Sweden, maintaining the brand’s long-standing connection to Nordic quality and dermatological standards.
