J-B Weld is a globally recognized brand of high-performance epoxy adhesives, famously marketed as the 'World's Strongest Bond.' The brand was founded in 1969 by Sam and Mary Bonham in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Sam, a machine shop owner, worked with a chemist from Texas A&M University to develop a 'cold weld' epoxy that could replace traditional torch welding for automotive repairs. Originally sold directly from the founders' car to local auto shops, the product eventually gained international status.

Today, J-B Weld focuses on a wide variety of specialty adhesives for metal, wood, plastic, and marine applications. While the company maintains a manufacturing and operational presence in its original home of Sulphur Springs, Texas, its corporate headquarters is located in Marietta, Georgia.
